AGCAS Careers Information and Employer Liaison Conference 2008

The Impact and Influence of Technology

University of Nottingham, 30th June - 2nd July 2008

Were you at the conference?

This wiki is here for conference-goers to share what they got out of the conference with each other and with anyone reading the wiki; the more we put in, the more we'll get out of it. Anyone who has attended the conference can add information to a page or create a new page - you just need to be enabled to edit the wiki. Once you are registered and logged in you can add information to any page by clicking the Edit button at the top of the page.

Your turn to play

Ever wanted to keep on discussing a conference session after the conference has finished? Or to have a peek at the sessions you missed, and be able to ask the presenter questions? Or find out what other people thought? Keep what you learned alive by:

What is this wiki for?

We've all been told that many heads are better than one. We've set up this wiki to tap into the mass wisdom of people attending the conference, so that we can all share ideas before, during and after we've attended. Anyone coming to the conference can edit the pages we're setting up, or set up a new page, if we've missed out something that you want to see.

After the conference, we're hoping to make this a permanent repository for the conference. We will have links to slides of the presentations (assuming the presenters are happy with that) and offer space to discuss the presentations post-conference. We'll also be asking for photographs, blog posts, or whatever else the conference has inspired you to produce.

Hello,

I'm sure everyone will agree is was very informative and a lot of fun. I hope to impress with my knowledge of generation Y at the next web meeting!

I totally agree with Debbie's comment. I thought the organisation of the conference was amazing, so thanks to everyone involved. Providing a choice of 27 workshop sessions was pretty impresssive and it will be useful to have all the presentations on the AGCAS website. The Jubilee Campus was a great venue and you even managed to get the sun to shine. Thanks also for the ceilidh!
