About me
Although now exiled in Birmingham, I am from Nottingham and am celebrating the promotion of Nottingham Forest back into the Championship, as well as the hilarious relegation of Derby County from the Premier League (officially the worst team ever). Amongst other things, I write reviews of stuff and also blog about football; in fact I used to write match reports (unpaid) for BBC Nottingham and the Nottingham Forest website.
Just to add to the stereotype of "bloke who likes football", I am also a bit of an anorak when it comes to music; I used to be in a band, and occasionally play with another one.
I used to live two miles down the road from the University of Nottingham, and studied for a year at Jubilee Campus. I am very proud to be from Nottingham and get annoyed when I see all the negative press that the city gets, because it really is a great place to live (and is no more dangerous than any other city in the UK).

Thank you kindly! Shame we didn't get much chance to speak. I had to bore Amelia rigid instead...
